I recently assembled a brand-new PC using mostly original components, but the memory module is likely causing problems. After just one day, I haven’t had much time to assess stability, yet the stress test tool Prime95 revealed some issues. It introduced rounding errors and even triggered a BSOD once—possibly due to a disabled page file. Once I re-enabled it, the problem stopped recurring. The memory is a G.Skill Ripjaws V 32GB 3200MHz with two 16GB modules. I’ve tested both standard and XMP/XMP settings, but rounding errors consistently break tests. I also increased the voltage from the default 1.35V to 1.4V without any noticeable improvement. What could be causing this? A photo of the test results shows failures with everything running normally otherwise. My system includes an AMD Ryzen 5800X, a Gigabyte B550M Pro-P motherboard, a G.Skill RAM as described, an EVGA 750W PSU, and an EVGA GTX 1080 graphics card.

I also ran MemTest, but it stopped after test 4 due to more than 10,000 errors. The results aren’t promising.
Turning off turbo boost doesn’t change the number of errors memtest detects. It seems the issue might be related to RAM, such as bad timings or overclocking, but I’m not sure how to fix it. Could there be a problem with clock speeds or voltage? I’ve already lowered the clock below the manufacturer’s limits without success and haven’t changed the voltage.
