Prime95-BLEND TEST FAILURE UNRESOLVED
Prime95-BLEND TEST FAILURE UNRESOLVED
I have the following components:
*AMD FX-8350
*KINGSTON HYPERX PREDATOR(2*8) 2133-1.6v DDR3(HX321C11T2K2/16)
*ASUS M5A97 EVO MB
My knowledge of OC is limited. I aim to increase the clock speed to 4.4ghz. My motherboard supports a maximum of 2133MHz. I chose DRAM O.C.PROFILE(2133). Set the Vcore voltage to 1.3 volts at a stable level based on Prime testing, and there were no issues during the small FFT test. I ran it for about 30 minutes. However, the blend test did not fail completely, though performance was affected. I believe the RAM is fine since it's new and passed memtest. The timing issue might be related to DRAM or something else. If you can assist, I would really appreciate it.
The motherboard might officially allow that RAM speed, but your CPU isn't compatible. Consider increasing the CPU-NB voltage.

Sure, I can adjust that. The current specs are 1.15v CPU and 1.6v DRAM. It seems the CPU speed was slightly higher than expected, but the issue persisted. I plan to increase it further and test again. Also, does raising the DRAM voltage above 1.6v make sense?
You're not making progress with such low voltages.

I understand, but I prefer not to overclock my CPU. I noticed the AMD 8350 reaches 4.4 GHz at its stock voltage. How should I adjust the CPU/nb and ht speed? Should I aim for 2200 MHz each for stability or a slightly higher setting?
Currently, I've set the CPU voltage to 1.3V but the issue persists.
