Consider alternative sellers such as G2A or GMG. A game's presence on Steam doesn't guarantee purchasing it through those platforms.

I think I’ll find it on Amazon. Even though it doesn’t seem to work on Steam, I’d rather save some cash. Also, I’m not placing any pre-orders.

It's completely confusing, I really can't grasp why this is happening. Many believe it's about taxes, but in Australia, there are no taxes on online purchases under $1000 AUD.
