In Australia the price is 75 USD. In Europe it's around 78 euros. In America it's 60 USD. This difference isn't due to taxes or anything similar. Rockstar doesn't pay Australian taxes, so the cost to us matches what they charge in America.

Australia's typical pay rate is also elevated. If Russian games are priced lower to make them affordable for users, this logic should apply globally.

Australia's typical pay being higher doesn't affect Rockstar at all. Ultimately, they're just receiving more compensation. A few publishers grasp this idea and charge reasonably. After all, personally I've never worked where income isn't a factor for me.

It's solely focused on the money, no concern for kindness—this is purely about the cash and no fairness, it's just about the cash and no care.

I haven’t purchased a game for $60 in a long time, and it’s unlikely I’ll ever do so again.

It’s just £39.99 on Steam if you pre-order. Can’t wait!

It's pretty normal for Australia to face high costs, and similar issues show up with Ubisoft and probably EA too. The last time I purchased an EA title was...BF3.
