Well, what's going on here? I don't understand what Intel is thinking anymore. Why would people want it? In winter you probably don't need a heater since CometLake helps, but what about summer when you'd need a chiller to keep things cool? It's interesting how the sides have flipped and now Intel is making more FX 9590 models. Anyone here who actually wants to buy Cometlake?
It didn't come across as genuine, even in the video. Someone seems genuinely upset today, though he only expressed what most people expect in this situation.

Yeah, around 300 to 400 watts for just the CPU seems high. TechPowerUp mentioned a system using 146 watts with a 9900K, but that doesn’t mean a Comet Lake-S will draw double that of the whole setup. I’d guess it’ll be closer to half of what they claimed. In some heavy tests it could hit 200 watts, but probably not more than that. For reference, the 3700X and 3900X used similar power levels in those tests. A 10-core Intel CPU shouldn’t consume twice as much as a 12-core AMD one—AMD is more efficient, though the gap isn’t huge.
It's surprising to think a system with 9900K could run on just under 150W when using R20.
