I believe prices for PC parts will drop mainly when Ryzen CPUs become more affordable, likely due to increased demand or supply adjustments.

Maybe the next desktop series will come out soon, or perhaps it'll be another 1 to 2 years later. Just don't rely on this prediction.

just a single component (s) dropping keeps the overall cost of the PC steady. issues like memory shortages, GPU mining without an entry-level motherboard, and no affordable options really made it hard to find a budget-friendly deal.

I just figured it out after watching a video where they mentioned 400 dollars, but when I checked the details, it was much higher than that.

What do you mean by prices dropping? Do you mean in general, or the current gen? In general, they have no reason to lower pricing. People are paying what they cost now, why would they lower it to make less money? The 3000 series Ryzen CPUs will drop in price either shortly before or when the 4000 series releases, however I wouldn't expect much. Maybe a few dollars. They're already cheaper than they were at launch. You have to quote people or they won't know you've replied to them.
