Hello, I have an MSI B550 tomahawk motherboard, Corsair Vengeance PRO 16GB-3200MHz and a RYSEEN 7 5800X. I understand the CPU supports up to 3200MHz and the board can enable XMP profiles, but currently it's only running at 2133MHz. I've adjusted the BIOS settings twice before, but when I press F10 and save, my PC won't display anything and needs a CMOS reset. Can anyone assist me in finding a solution or explain why this happens? I know the specs and compatibility are correct, and the article mentioned a similar issue.
Obtain a fresh RAM package. Typically you must identify among three factors: one XMP is an overclocked version, and its success isn't assured. In the worst case, you might need to tweak timing manually—like updating the bios or adjusting CPU clock speeds—but it wasn’t necessary. It could be as easy as ensuring your BIOS is up to date or fine-tuning the CPU settings for better synchronization.
