I put it on a fresh drive recently and haven’t seen any issues. All the software from 8.1 is running smoothly. What have others experienced?

It was quite satisfactory, similar to the Metro experience in Windows 8, and then it changed direction.

Uncertain about it. My attempt caused issues, so I might try again later.

I tested it in Virtualbox and it ran slowly. After that, installing on a dedicated SSD made it much smoother. It’s surprisingly reliable even though it’s still a beta. I’d agree with the experience for Ubuntu too.

I faced some security problems. Malware kept slipping in regularly. It seemed to be resolved eventually, though it was frustrating when I used the system publicly. Also, dual booting with Windows 8.1 was difficult due to how the drive was partitioned. I usually ran Malware bytes a few times weekly and caught something each time. On 8.1 it didn’t work at all, but on the old version it functioned properly.

Everything is functioning properly here; I've switched it to be my primary operating system since it's very reliable. Games and benchmarks work well, but the only issue I'm facing right now is with signing in.
