You don’t have funds for a Windows key, and your parents restrict G2A access, so using the Windows 10 tech preview might not be allowed.

I'm using it all the time to guarantee my feedback is correct. It works great, but remember to regularly back up your data since Windows 10 could wipe everything unexpectedly or cause serious issues. This is part of alpha testing—stay prepared for anything.

It isn't fully prepared for use as your primary operating system, but it should function and accomplish the task. Be prepared to encounter issues or experience some problems along the way. Sufficient to keep you going until you can afford the full version.

It seems the setup still lacks DirectX and Java, or those might be specific to your virtual machine.

I experienced a notable boost in game performance using a virtual machine.

Thanks for the input! I’ll definitely give it a shot—I think installing Steam will work well, and I’ll probably just use it to get my games from there plus FSX (my sole game on a disc).
