I encountered an issue. Make sure your files are saved, then exit and reopen. Experiment with the preview window, and when you launch it, set the video file type before editing. Click the desired item to begin.

The problem remained consistent until recently. My solution involved adjusting Preferences, selecting Video settings, and disabling GPU acceleration prior to launching Sony Vegas. The noise textures are now functioning correctly! Let me know if this assists.
