You can adjust settings in Windows 10 to prevent your monitors from automatically repositioning during sleep. Check the Power Options or Fancy Zones settings to disable automatic screen movement when the system powers down.

When using the displayport, you notice its least preferred trait. A few screens offer a setting to stay connected during sleep, though this feature is usually hard to find and tucked away.

Check the OSD on your monitors for a Displayport Deep Sleep option and disable it. Also try moving to 11—it usually works well. When I disconnect and reconnect a display, Windows often restores my settings automatically.

The screen isn’t working properly. It’s quite challenging. I need to upgrade the key, then perform a clean install since upgrading Windows isn’t reliable in my case. I just ran a fresh install a while back and don’t plan to do another one soon.

Followed the suggestion. It doesn’t appear to be damaged. Perhaps I won’t need to reformat or reinstall, though we’ll find out.
