And the desktop freezes because Windows needs to change its resolution and the GPU struggles. It could also be a driver issue. If you're using the newest version, try reverting to earlier updates.

You asked if testing was done at desktop settings similar to in-game. I checked for GPU spikes and VRAM usage. No unusual consumption was noted. The game didn’t crash consistently across menus or other areas.

I haven't looked at the charts, that's a great suggestion. I'll monitor them closely and see if there are any spikes. So far, I haven't experienced issues with fullscreen apps, except for games.

It looks like the changes haven't caused any issues yet. I'm not attempting to contact karma, but it seems to be working now... for the time being. I'll share another update only if things improve. Thanks for your support!

Hey, sorry to hear you're facing these problems. It seems like the crashes are coming back, and you've already tried a few fixes. It looks like the issue might be related to your GPU driver. You mentioned trying to uninstall and reinstall drivers, but nothing changed. Since your graphics card is old and has been heavily used, it could be struggling. You might want to check its health using manufacturer tools or online diagnostics. Let me know if you need more guidance!

I just encountered a blue screen with error code System_service_exception. Whenever the game crashes or throws errors, it always points back to drivers. My GPU is an AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series — that’s old. Can you share a link to confirm I’m installing bad drivers again? Thanks! ^^

Suggest using a different GPU if feasible. By then you'd likely need outdated drivers. I haven't used AMD GPUs in about fifteen years, so I lack direct experience. With Nvidia, only the newest models have working drivers, meaning an older GPU won't gain much from updates. I haven't changed drivers in two years and am still on Windows 10.

I don’t have the chance to switch to another GPU while using drivers from October 19 before the update. ^^

Hello, I see you're experiencing frequent crashes. After trying to revert to the early 2019 drivers, nothing worked. It's frustrating and unclear where the problem lies. Could you share some tests, logs, or crash reports to help diagnose it?
