EA has decided to close NFSW starting July 15th. It’s a free, open-world game known for its customizable cars and fun gameplay. Although it won’t generate revenue for them anymore, they’re requesting that only servers remain operational for those who still play. Even if you’re not interested, signing the petition helps—just take about two minutes. Last week I joined a campaign to remove paid mods from Steam, and Valve followed through! You might sign a petition even if you don’t care because it can still influence others or raise awareness about an issue.

EA isn't foolish. It didn't function with Dawngate, so why would it succeed here? They're likely working on something bigger, not just for entertainment. Maybe Unground: Need for Speed is on the horizon.

I've enjoyed NFS ever since its release, though newer racing titles offer more options. The game feels a bit outdated compared to modern experiences, especially with the presence of Most Wanted and Carbon worlds.

I recall the initial Fast and Furious film being shown right after Underground's release

I saved it, attempted to run it, but the servers aren't responding—it's a puzzle game.
