No one has shared their experience with moving .vhdx files from a physical drive to a virtual machine .vmdk in VMware. I attempted this using the STARWIND V2V converter, but it generated two files—one tiny at 1kb and another close to the disk size. It seems the process wasn’t straightforward, even after trying to swap files in the VM folder. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
