It will require a BIOS update, though it should already be included. Keep in mind that the R3 3200G uses Zen+ architecture, identical to the Ryzen 2000 series. For certainty about compatibility with the Ryzen 3000 series, you'll need a B550 board; however, a B450 would be a more affordable option.

B550 works with Ryzen 3000 chips, though not the 3000 series APUs as claimed by some. AMD's naming system seems confusing lately.

It's actually Zen+ and part of the 2000 series, so you won't have to update the BIOS.
