I recommend holding off while I await the premium, since I noticed a notification yesterday about upcoming discounts.

Ultimately, it boils down to whether you liked the core experience; if so, the DLC will be enjoyable too. It's essentially the same as before.

I’d keep going with battlefield4 vanilla and spend those 35$ on another title.

Its a good deal..I myself dont plan on buying Hardline and many I play with aren't either..So I think there is still some mileage in BF4 for now.

BF: The hardline edition isn't really a new Battlefield release, so it makes sense to opt for the Premium version at 4. Also, you won't find a BF:H priced around $35—expect it to be nearer to $60, and the premium option will also come with a $50 tag.

I had premium and it worked well while I played the game. I was around level 68 or higher and just got tired of it. If you really want to try it, check out the different maps in videos—maybe a few DLCs or two would be cheaper than buying everything. Also, you can purchase premium here: http://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/battlefie...key-origin

I don't like the extra maps much. It would be better if I'd purchased just the second assault pack.

Get it at a huge discount if you really want it. The game remains unstable, and GameTime (Free week for BF4) has attracted a huge wave of players. For some odd reason, both vanilla and DLC servers are packed with high pingers well above 300, far surpassing those with normal activity. Few under 100ms remain. Lag is at its worst. I'm reaching out to support to have it removed from my Origin account. The game is a mess, and DICE seems focused on pointless features instead of fixing their real issues.
