Premium desktop computer experiencing subpar Battlefield 3 gameplay.
Hi,
I’ve recently begun playing Battlefield 3 once more on my computer and I'm experiencing significantly reduced frame rates. During my most recent matches, I’m seeing figures between 20 and 50 FPS.
My hardware specifications are:
GeForce GTX 980
Intel i7-7700k processor
16GB of RAM
I have updated both my graphics card and CPU drivers. I've examined the NVIDIA control panel’s 3D settings, utilized Nvidia GeForce Experience for game optimization, and downloaded the DirectX files from the Battlefield 3 installation directory – however, none of these measures have resolved the issue. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

identify the PSU's make and model?
monitor CPU and GPU temperatures and utilization while playing the game?
