I was using a very large image (9836x14102 pixels) in Premiere Elements 13 that I'd zoom in and out on but I noticed that in the final video zoomed in elements look really blurry. Here's a comparison picture showing a zoom in on the original image and the way Premiere Elements zooms:

You're seeing blur in the video despite recording in 1080p. Check your settings and ensure everything is properly configured for clarity.
