Prepare the game ahead two days prior to the beta launch. No other titles have been preloaded on Steam, though some users report similar timelines. I anticipate the preload will be available at 00:01 on April 13, 2015. This should allow me to download during daytime at 500kbps while using the PC at full capacity overnight (1.6mbps). My SSD has sufficient space (90GB free).
They rarely notify about preloading until nearer the launch date. The NBA 2K15 version was already installed on my computer three days prior, and the announcement came only hours before the actual preloading began—likely a decision by the developers.
