Hello everyone! I'm trying to make some top-notch gaming videos for my YouTube channel. I've been testing various codecs and render options for Dxtory and Sony Vegas. One issue I'm facing is stuttering when uploading videos. I've noticed my FPS drops below 60 FPS during recording. My setup isn't the most powerful, but I'm okay with 45 to 60 FPS. However, my machine struggles to keep up at 60 FPS. My question is, if I had to choose between 1080p60 with stuttering or 1080p30 without stuttering, which would I pick? To be honest, watching YouTube doesn't really matter to me either way. I just hope my viewers get the best possible experience with what I have. Thanks a lot for your time!

1080p display smooth and steady. 30fps is standard, no stuttering detected.

It's much smoother at 1080p60.

I understand, but the choice depends on whether you want 1080p60 with stuttering or 1080p without it. This is due to my device frequently dropping below 60fps during recording.

It varies based on the material. 1080p60 is quite demanding for watching CS:GO clips or similar content. Fortunately, Warowl handles it well. Other options at 1080p @ 30hz work just fine.

Absolutely, the same quality isn't always best. For fast-paced shooters like CS:GO, 1080p60 is ideal. For slower games such as Fallout 3 and Skyrim, 30fps works just fine.
