It seems like some people are suggesting that having five planned DLCs already released isn’t relevant here, and others are joking about not preordering.

Appreciate the effort to break down this content and offer it at a lower price. People refer to it as "safe money"... wow, that’s clever!

I really appreciate how dice handles DLC, and I understand that everything is set beforehand so customers know what to expect—no surprises. They’re completely transparent with us, the game costs $60, and the DLC will be available later or as a premium option. The benefit of DLC in this type of game is that it continuously adds new content, keeping players engaged and maintaining a strong player base. You won’t get bored because fresh material is released every 1 or 2 years. Just like with Fortnite, which has thrived on this model, it’s worth noting that while the initial cost is high, being upfront helps avoid unexpected expenses.

It’s around $119 in the US, similar to the pricing for Battlefield 3/4 Premium. This isn’t surprising, but it doesn’t change much. Many titles with season passes would match this cost if they’re packaged together. A smart approach is to get the standard version once it shows real value, then check the DLC later. The season pass will likely stay available, possibly discounted, after all DLCs are released and evaluated. Also keep in mind that any instant-access perks usually roll out through timed events or gameplay progression, not just for those who bought upfront. The only unique perks for pre-purchasers are the emotes.
