They’re completely off base. The game is already pretty bad on its own. I also learned they’re stopping any criticism about it. Ugh, EA!
The price ranges from $44 to $60, excluding occasional major discounts. Regardless of the name, this item will likely be available multiple times during the game's lifespan. While a high cost is noticeable, those who don't explore cheaper options or use Origin can help EA maximize revenue.
I'm thinking of treating myself today and I think if costs were more reasonable, you'd order ahead too. The amounts they charge are outrageous and I wish they'd stop hoarding money and become more sensible. You're pushing hard, that's true. What will your supporters do? Let's be honest, you're not alone (no offense intended). There should be a better approach to challenging the system. Unfortunately, those who resist usually end up having to lower prices to boost demand—basic economics at play.
I don't have any interest in Star Wars, so that's not important to me either. Just avoid pre-orders.
