Pre-built solid underperforms.
Pre-built solid underperforms.
Hey there, I understand this might be confusing at first. I just got a prebuilt gaming PC from Best Buy and was hoping to achieve around 144 FPS for Warzone, but I'm only managing 70-90. The model is the Asus G15CX B-10. I have an Intel Core i7-9700K, 16GB DDR4 RAM, a RTX 2080 Super, and a 750W gold-rated power supply.
According to the user benchmarks I found, my performance looks like this:
- CPU: 97.7%
- GPU: 131.8%
- SSD: 190.3%
- HDD: 108.9%
- RAM: 48.2%
I've updated my drivers, deleted some files, and reinstalled Windows several times using DDU. I've tried almost everything I could think of, but I'm still feeling frustrated. Any advice or help would be really appreciated!
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! The PSU model is 750 watts, and Gold indicates the 80+ rating, not the specific unit model. It’s a good idea to download the newest drivers from Nvidia and then uninstall your existing ones using DDU. Apply the latest drivers and install them with an elevated command—right-click the installer and select Run as Administrator. Also, verify your motherboard’s BIOS version and confirm the current Windows 10 version you’re using.
The motherboard is identified as ASUSTek COMPUTER INC G15CX. There are no issues with the power supply, likely the standard ASUS 750W unit. The BIOS version is g15CX.303 and the Windows version is 10.0.18363.
Certainly, here are more details about your graphics settings for the game. You can review the article for guidance and attempt to match its configuration to achieve similar performance.
My graphics configurations are adjusted to the minimum in most situations, nearly everything is turned off or on low. I also prioritize maximum energy efficiency when using Nvidia CP.
The temperatures are as follows, along with the recommended cooler options.
