I'm trying to turn my Dell Latitude D830 into a hackbook, but standard methods aren’t helping. My friend has a PowerPC Mac Mini I lent him recently—could I possibly borrow it for the installation? I’m not sure if MyHack works with PowerPC. Any advice would be really helpful.

Oof, that's tough... I don't think it will work; I think you need an x86 PC to do it.

If none of the macless methods worked for you, then you wont have any luck with any other methods either. Maybe try a VM

To determine how something works, you analyze its components and test them step by step.

Assuming you managed to create the USB but couldn't start, it's probably a hardware issue. Unlike Windows or Linux, OS X isn't easily installed on most systems. It relies on specific hardware features in its kernel, and custom laptops aren't commonly built to support it.

OSXLatitude indicates my laptop works well with various systems. Probably the problem lies in making the bootable file. Still, I’ve reviewed many MyHack guides and should be able to fix it.
