I purchased a Dlink Av-1000 powerlan two months back and it's experiencing unusual connection problems. When my gaming PC is connected, it drops out after a few hours. However, when the PC is off and I connect it to my laptop or use my phone (which has a wifi extension), everything functions properly. To resolve this, I've found a temporary fix: powering both devices off for a few hours before reconnecting. Dlink support advised replacing the unit, thinking it was faulty. They suggested this but didn't provide a solution yet. I've been in contact with them for over a month, as they don't offer phone support in the EU, and haven't received any answers. I'm now reaching out here hoping someone can help.

I already possess the most recent firmware, which suggests this might not be the problem.

I noticed you reached out to your internet provider. The maker of your router assures everything is working well, but they suggest checking if any issues arise after a certain usage period or data consumption. I’d also recommend enabling QoS settings, setting up port forwarding, and assigning a dedicated IP for your gaming console—D-link can assist with these steps.

My internet connection isn't related to anything else either. My family doesn't experience issues with the internet or Wi-Fi, and the problem seems to be with my powerline adapter.
