Hello, welcome to the community! I’m just getting started and need help with my new setup. I recently switched from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and everything is running smoothly so far. However, there’s a small issue with the software side. My Pioneer BDR-209D Blu-ray drive has been working fine in my previous Win 7 installation, but now when I watch 1080p Blu-ray movies using PowerDVD 22 Ultra, it freezes randomly. After a few seconds or minutes, the video restarts, but the audio keeps ahead. The video tries to keep up by playing at a faster speed or skipping frames, which only happens with Blu-rays. This hasn’t occurred with DVDs in my other player.

I’ve tried several fixes:

1. Removed the drive from Windows Device Manager and restarted.
2. Updated the drive firmware to version 1.51.
3. Tested various Blu-ray titles—consistent results.
4. Used different movies; same issue.
5. Updated to the latest Nvidia Studio Drivers (version 516.59).
6. Installed the newest Game-Ready Drivers (version 516.19).

Other options I’ve considered:
- Using a different Blu-ray player.
- Checking if the drive is recognized correctly.
- Ensuring no background processes are interfering.

My specs include an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, gaming hardware, and multiple SSDs. Any suggestions or alternative solutions would be greatly appreciated!

I've heard about it, but I'm focusing on 1080p Blu-rays instead of 4K UHD.
