What's the ideal power plan for your PC to get top performance? I stick to what this person suggests because I can't find compatible parts. The power plan is the only option I'm stuck with, even though the rest of their tips helped. -------------------------- Hardware Details -------------------------- i7-4790 Non K 32GB DDR3 1600MHz Patriot Gigabyte GTX1070 8GB Asus Z97-P Mobo 1920x1080 75Hz Lenovo TN Hyper 212 Cooler 2xSamsung 850 EVO 250GB 1xSeagate 4TB HDD -------------------------- Are there mixed suggestions?

Standard "High Performance" sessions are sufficient. The alternatives are worthless and won't yield results.

Testing Bitsum for a couple of days lately because my computer is showing signs of wear with newer titles and the expense of components is nearly unfeasible due to the pandemic and lack of work.

The plan won't speed up your computer. You're losing your time.

Create your own tailored power plan. Experiment until you find the settings you prefer.

I believe my CPU is limiting performance; the 1070 operates around 60% but the i7-4790 non-K might benefit from some upgrades. If you can assist with my BIOS, I know the K version is required for unlocking, though you can overclock it slightly. My setup includes 32GB x 4x8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM, a Patiot Ram Asus Z97-P motherboard with the latest BIOS, an i7-4790 (Non-K) stock system, Hyper-212 Evo red fans, a Gigabyte GTX 1070 8GB, two 250GB SSDs, a Seagate 4TB HDD, a 1920x1080 monitor at 75Hz, and case fans and GPU spinning at 1500rpm each. The GPU occasionally doubles but never exceeds 65°C. I’m okay running low-resolution games at 1080p and just want to lower frame rates and maintain around 65fps.
