I understand your concern based on the title. It seems like I might have a faulty power supply or just not being smart enough. The issue started after I installed an NVMe SSD and everything functioned well for a week. Then, when I tried to play 240Hz chess at home, it stopped completely. I checked the PSU, opened it up, and everything looked normal. No buzz from the motherboard either. I replaced the PSU and thought that would solve the problem. Still, nothing happened. I’m planning to get a new board tomorrow but wanted your thoughts. Thanks!

Specs: MSI B450i gaming plus AC (latest BIOS) R5 2600 Zotac 1050Ti
SSDs and hard drives available
Fans: Node 202, 16 GB RAM, Corsair SF450 Gold
Note: A microwave malfunction a few weeks ago might be related. Could the CPU be affected?

Did you attempt to remove the power button, connect it to the motherboard using a screwdriver, and check its condition?
