There are several safety considerations. The maker wouldn't let you raise it if it wasn't safe. Some advise not increasing the power limit if your GPU only uses PCI power but your card has a 6-pin connector, which is perfectly acceptable. Just set the temperature and power limits to their highest values.

Why should I raise the temperature target?
When power limits are the only option,
Overclocking shouldn't be restricted by anything.
Your GPU's temperature is 57 degrees, which is quite low for a GPU.
Increasing the temperature limit could help boost performance slightly.
Try setting both to their maximum and see if your clocks improve.
