Hey everyone, I'm trying to adjust the minimum and maximum processor settings on my power plan, but it seems to be ignoring them completely—whether I set it to 99%, 50% or 10%. The latest BIOS on my R5 3600 DS3H B450M isn't responding to the standard or Ryzen plans.

I'll ask the same thing for another reason. Rely on the base Power Plan and its scheduler instead of trying to adjust settings manually. For achieving extremely low idle power consumption on Ryzen MCM CPUs, it's challenging. If you need constant high power usage, turning off C-states in UEFI and using Performance mode is more effective than fiddling with advanced power plan options.

I have no issues at all, I was just experimenting. To be completely honest, I was looking into ways to assist my nephew with his notebook CPU overheating. So I thought, 'why not restrict the CPU?' (can't undervolt with throttle stop because it's locked and can't clean it since he's far away). I tried applying it on my PC first just to see if it worked, but it didn't. That's the story I hope you can help me with! Thanks.
