Hey there, I checked the forums and found some discussions about similar problems, but it looks like my situation isn’t exactly the same. About a week back, the computer would suddenly power off whenever it tried to load something—like a game or a webpage. Now it just shuts down randomly, even when everything seems fine. Recently, I crashed while loading a new world in-game, but otherwise the PC has been running smoothly for the past three days. Sometimes I manage to start the game without issues, though opening Chrome on my second monitor causes it to turn off. I replaced and rechecked all my RAM, tested the slots, and even swapped out the BIOS. All temperatures look normal on the GPU and CPU when I check them. My hardware hasn’t overheated according to HWMonitor. This is the second PC I’ve built, over a year old now. My BIOS is outdated, but after looking up updates, it seems others with the same CPU are experiencing temperature spikes and random glitches. I’m considering updating it, though it’s just a coincidence that everything else works. If this helps, let me know!

I understand you changed the RAM, but that doesn't rule it out entirely. I’d run memtest86 to test for faulty RAM. My previous issues were linked to the graphics card. Other possibilities include a defective motherboard or a BIOS update by Jay that clashed with the video card he had installed. Here’s the situation:

It could be a storage problem, often occurring during data loading. You have two M.2 SSDs; remove the one without Windows and test. Unless it's a RAID setup, this might resolve the issue.

I removed each stick individually and tried them all in single and dual channel configurations. After testing numerous possible arrangements, I’m confident the system will behave consistently even with just one 16GB stick installed. I haven’t updated my BIOS since assembling the PC, and the latest version appears to cause issues with the CPU. I’ve never experienced similar problems with this BIOS setup before, so it’s hard to attribute the issue to a BIOS problem. However, running Memtest would definitely help confirm anything. I’m also wondering if there’s a reliable method to diagnose a faulty MMO without recreating the exact scenario. Thanks for your reply, and sorry for the delayed response—I’m a night owl!

Unless you possess a different motherboard, you’ll likely need to try various options until only one remains, which might be the solution.

I'm still trying to understand the issue, but I've noticed a new problem. When the PC has been running for a while with just a YouTube video playing, it sometimes freezes completely after restarting. I updated my motherboard BIOS and performed a fresh Windows installation to check for software issues. While doing that, I ran Memtest to ensure the RAM was healthy. Right now, the RAM looks fine. The PSU is solid, all drives are working except one with the Windows install. CPU, GPU, and motherboard status are still unknown. I have 3DMark tests ready for CPU and GPU, but the PC shuts down when either program runs. I'm leaning toward the GPU but might need to return it for repair. Edit: I managed to complete a CPU stress test recently, so I think I can eliminate that one. Edit 2: I also ran an Extreme Stress Test on the GPU, which performed well... making me even more confused.
