Hello everyone, I currently have two Raspberry Pi devices always online and linked to the internet. One is used for a 'magic mirror' project that pulls in weather updates and new content, while the other runs MyEyeOS to keep an eye on our home. I've shared a port so I can watch the camera remotely when I'm away. I've learned that security settings are often weak unless you configure them properly. Could this pose any risk to my network?

To check your network risks, run a Nessus scan. It will test many typical attack points and provide a report on findings. Learn more at the provided links. Remember, some issues may not pose a significant threat, so identify which ones need attention versus those that are less critical.

Sure thing! I didn’t consider running a security check beforehand. Just wanted to make sure no one could reach any of the Pi devices, which might affect the rest of the network.
