Hey! I usually don’t post much here but I’m running out of ideas. Specs: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics 6/12 0.0v. Build: ASUSTeK TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI). RAM: 32 GB. Storage: Samsung SSD 980 1TB (931.5 GB). GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (12 GB). Note: I assembled this myself, so installation problems are possible. Point to be noted: My PC works fine for specs, but in games like Fortnite it stays under 30% or 60% during full load. At peak stress I see huge FPS drops—either everything runs perfectly or it’s choppy. Sometimes it feels weird until FPS recovers. I suspect a bottleneck or installation hiccup. Since I just reinstalled Windows, it’s probably not corruption. My CPU hits around 30% usage while gaming, but the GPU sometimes drops to half. My monitor is also connected to the GPU. Could be something went wrong during setup. Any tips would be appreciated!

It seems you're curious about your current performance. What frame rate are you achieving when things run smoothly?

I usually see a drop in frame rate when there are lots of builds, but it works smoothly otherwise. Under heavy load it feels like there are some bottlenecks. I don’t mind low FPS numbers because I used to really focus on them in the past. This isn’t just about stress-induced drops—my stats aren’t high enough to say it’s just power issues. Got any suggestions?

Verify your GPU drivers, if possible. Upgrade them when needed. Other routine tasks include updating BIOS settings or using DDU (display driver uninstaller) before reinstalling GPU drivers. Find out your RAM speed and the slot types for your RAM modules. For proper placement, refer to your motherboard's user guide.

Yes, we achieve full GPU utilization in benchmarks, including superposition tasks.

I’ll check the bios and DDU updates now. Regarding the RAM speed, your task manager shows DDR4. About the installation issue, before opening the old boxes, would the slots accept 4 modules even if they weren’t installed correctly? Let me know your thoughts!

I noticed the installation was placed in incorrect slots. You mentioned a 2x16GB setup, but it seems you actually have a 4x8GB configuration. A 3200MHz processor works well with Ryzen, so that shouldn’t be the main issue. Apart from that, I think the GPU drivers or BIOS might be the cause.

Recent bios updates, newest chipset firmware, latest nvidia drivers, CPU performance under stress, and 1080p usage are all available.

I assembled this system and can't recall the precise model. It seems to match the Corsair RM750 750W, 80+ Gold certified, fully modular ATX power supply.
