Hello everyone. I have a Ryzen 7 7800X3D installed on my motherboard. Before connecting it, I noticed some issues with the contact pads—there looked like a scratch or some dust/debris on one of them when viewed from an unusual angle. Under direct and bright light, these problems seem to disappear. It's still uncertain whether everything is okay until I power it on. Do you think the CPU is working properly? I'm holding off on the GPU until now. I'm just sharing this for reassurance. Please note that the photos were taken shortly after each other, so it's not a clear before-and-after situation. It might be fine, and I might just be overthinking. That particular pin appears different when viewed from an odd perspective. It hasn't ever been exposed outside its protective packaging, and I haven't seen my nails go deep enough to harm the contact area. Thanks!
The surface has minor imperfections causing uneven light reflection. It should work fine. For safety, wipe it with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol if needed.
