Someone, can you assist? I'm having an odd problem with the RAM. During cleaning or other activities, even a slight bump makes it come loose and the PC doesn't trigger the 3 beeps or red LED. Yesterday I changed my GPU and didn't touch the RAM at all, yet it still came loose. It's correctly seated in the slot with the clips. It only works after I reinsert the RAM. Is this a motherboard issue or a RAM problem? As with my old RAM, this wasn't an issue before. My current RAM is TridentZ, and the previous one was Ripjaws V.

The RAM slots on this board feature a contemporary design with stationary clips at the base of the slot. Confirm that the bottom of the RAM is completely locked in place—RAM should not be moving around in the socket, indicating proper installation.

Do you have the Ripjaws V ready for testing again? Make sure the notch on the bottom of the TridentZ isn’t damaged. If all RAM slots become loose eventually, it might suggest a problem with the motherboard clips. Since RAM is secured by a tight fit, checking carefully should help you identify the issue.

Unfortunately, the Ripjaws V isn't with me. Ram and slots both appear great during a quick look. The bottom stationary clip clicks softly, just like the top lock when using the lever. After reinstalling RAM, Memtest and Windows Memory Test reported no issues. It's worth mentioning the RAM doesn't fall out on its own. If I accidentally bump into them while cleaning, they malfunction completely without any repair. This issue didn’t occur with Ripjaws. I believe it’s due to the bottom lock mechanism. Tridents are tricky to install because of their sharp edges, and it’s possible I left them unsecured. This time I used double pressure, and so far it’s holding up for about three days.
