Hi, I had my computer running for a while and downloaded the A380 Intel GPU for encoding. I connected it via PCIe 3.0 (no 4.0, AMDs 6700 XT used 5.0). After turning it off, I left it plugged in but unplugged the Shirt cover to make installation easier. I connected it to the power from the PCIe side of my 850W PSU, which provided more than enough since I was only using 500W. The screen went black. I tried reseating the RAM, using just one GPU, flashing BIOS via a FAT32 USB drive with an unzipped version for the latest BIOS, and using my motherboard’s display port. Still no success. I’ve heard it might be a PCH initialization issue or a fast boot problem, but I’m unsure how to fix it without a display. Note: sometimes I get to A0, but when I power it off it shows 04.

Hello there! I’d start by searching for the motherboard manufacturer and checking the specifications. Regarding the shirt reference, it seems you’re talking about removing a component to install your GPU—likely referring to unscrewing a bracket or panel to access the graphics card.

That's exactly what I meant by the shirt. I searched for the code, looked through my manual, but didn't find it there. The search result mentioned it was the fast boot feature, but I'm unsure how to modify it since I don't have a display.

Sure, just reattach the original GPU and take out the new one instead of modifying the IO shield.

I've attempted to launch the BIOS using 1 and 2 GPUs, but it didn't work.

You've connected the HDMI to the appropriate port.

HDMI connection for GPU; shows display on both GPU and motherboard. Board lacks HDMI port. Used HDMI 2.1 successfully on a single PC, both monitors worked. Updated: VGA indicator is red now, indicating GPU isn't being detected. Planning to test GPU on a friend's system.

Updated: A380 functioned on another machine, but 6700XT didn’t (possibly due to compatibility). My board isn’t posting either, which is a big problem. Time to upgrade the GPU and motherboard. Thanks, Tom!
