Post about appreciating Assassin's Creed.
Lately I've been playing nothing but Assassins Creed games, This weekend alone I've already put in 19 hours of playtime on Black Flag just from having to play the entire game through again trying to complete it since apparently Ubisoft doesn't transfer cloud saves between Operating Systems. Kind of annoying honestly. Upgrade to Windows 10 and I lose all my progress but anyway! I just want to know, what has been your favorite AC game to be released so far? And are you looking forward to the release of Syndicate? Because I know I am especially after Unity just kind of made me want to take the game out back and throw it into the bonfire. Me personally, AC Black Flag has been my favorite game in the series so far. It's just such a great game, it looks absolutely amazing graphically, and one of the biggest things for me in it is the naval combat. I've always wanted a good pirate game where I could be the captain of a ship and sail around in an open world and go into battle with other ships then take their loot. Pirates of the Caribbean kind of contributed the need for that in a game. The engine for the game isn't the greatest, and I was really dissapointed in how some parts of the game worked. Still, all in all AC: Black Flag is by far on the best Assassins Creed games to have ever come out. Before Black Flag my favorite was Brotherhood. Revelation was garbage to me, and III idk, maybe if I had finished it I would have liked it. I just never did finish it though because I got out of console gaming like a month after it came out and got into PC gaming. But yeah, I want to know what everyones favorite Assassins Creed game was and why! This is also just to get a change of topic going instead of seeing, "Oh I need help with this because Windows 10 won't let me pet my kitty through the internet" or "Windows 10 doesn't suck my dick like my girlfriend does, can you help me fix this?"
Watched a few hours of the first game, moved on to the second until I picked up Altaïr's gear. Lost enthusiasm and stopped playing afterward since everything felt repetitive. Tried the pirate-themed version, though the idea was appealing; it only lasted about an hour because the 30fps setting on my Xbox One made it frustrating. I got it for free after using Xbox Live for a month.
I've tried every AC game up to Black Flag. Brotherhood stands out as my top pick—it's the one where I experienced the best of the series' mechanics. That was before things became too repetitive until Black Flag came out. Black Flag, my second favorite in the lineup, revived the series with richer naval systems and stunning graphics... then Ubisoft made a major mistake by releasing "Unity."
Yeah... I'm in. Brotherhood and black flag are the top choices yet. Unity wasn't too bad either. In my opinion, it's even better than Revelation and AC3.
