Hello. My new PC has these specifications, but I’m only achieving 200-300 FPS, regardless of game settings. I’m not using any launch options. My goal is to show the system could run better than it does for CS:GO. I’d appreciate any advice or help from others. (Apologies if this was posted in the wrong area or isn’t permitted here)

This setup makes sense for a solid gaming rig. Typically it stays around 300 unless you own a high-end machine, but in your situation it probably doesn’t add much since your monitor runs at 144Hz. You might gain a small edge if your frame rate is higher, though not a huge one. Generally, the more frames your monitor receives per second from the GPU, the fresher the visuals become. This difference isn’t significant with a 144Hz display because you’re already benefiting from receiving data roughly 144 times each second.

My previous computer cost a third of this model and delivered similar performance in CSGO. It’s surprising how well it worked. Removing the FPS cap in CSGO didn’t help much. I still think it could do better. Any suggestions?

It seems you're questioning the value of improving performance beyond what you already have.

If there wasn't a need for more, I wouldn't be seeking solutions or answers. You're welcome to think it doesn't matter, though I don't have to agree. Also, it doesn't matter if my PC isn't functioning as expected, especially since it's brand new—performance issues would be a significant problem.

CS:GO limits frame rate to 300 FPS by default. You can unlock it using a command in the console—check the Reddit thread for details.

I understand you mentioned the limit has been removed and that it doesn't matter if the PC falls below 300.

Yes, I believed I'd witnessed creators earning over 400 while filming.
