You’re currently using Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview and want to revert to Windows 7. Since you’re on a 120GB SSD with data on a 2TB HDD, you can dual boot both OSes. For installing Windows 7 alongside Windows 10, follow the official dual-boot setup guide—ensure your installation media is ready and select the correct partitions during setup.
You have the option, though I believe it’s not worthwhile. Just install Windows 7 with the .iso file from Microsoft and use the provided Windows 7 key.
Shouldn't be any different than the other way around unless I've missed something. Simply make a new partition (I'd probably do it on the hdd to save the space for win10 programs/games etc on the ssd) and then install windows 7 on the new partition. Should work. Unless, again, I have missed something. But I doubt that it shouldn't work. EDIT: Should be the same as this but doing it in windows 10. And once you are installing win7, use custom/advanced and choose the new partition that is empty. And NOT the ssd where you've got Win10 already or the hdd partition with all your files since this will remove everything on the drive. (Unless, again, you make a new partition that's empty for win7) EDIT 2: But as The Slimy Pig said, I'd just stay on win10. It's actually really nice once you get used to it. But if you want windows 7, that's how to do it^. EDIT 3: Worth mentioning is that dual booting can make your computer boot slower due to having several OSes installed. So that's something to consider as well.
