I observed today that on my home computer, a warning appeared stating that settings could only be modified by the organization's administrator. This message wasn’t present yesterday, and since I’m the sole user, I’m quite puzzled. If anyone has suggestions on resolving this issue, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. I’ve attempted using the Tron script multiple times, tried various command prompt commands, and even disabled telemetry to see if it would help regain control of my organization settings. I installed OOSHUTUP because I noticed it can display similar statuses, but I still lack full control over my virus protection. Additionally, I’ve unenrolled from the Windows Insider program, yet there’s no change.

Your system doesn’t refresh often. Windows appears to have significantly restricted admin privileges, making even admin accounts need approval for changes—likely to prevent unauthorized modifications. If your device isn’t connected to the internet for updates, it might have recently received one that enforced this change, forcing you to seek permission yourself. Microsloth struggled to locate a solution during a snowstorm with both hands full.

You likely triggered the warning because one of those Windows 10 update tools—related to privacy or updates—was altered by the Settings app.
