You’ve retrieved files using testdisk but noticed black videos with occasional audio issues. This seems to affect all the video files so far. Are there any options to recover or fix them?

They might be lacking header details. Try using VLC to check compatibility. Let us know if it works. If it does, we can proceed with fixing them.

Certainly, the videos maintain the same outcome when accessed with VLC.

Without examining the files, it seems likely the data is missing or you’ll require advanced methods to retrieve it. Are the sizes comparable to the originals, or do they seem significantly reduced?

Perhaps the original data remains intact. I could attempt something similar like this video if needed.

I've been watching the video and thought I was doing something wrong. It turns out the free download of ffmpeg 6.1 doesn't save as a zip file. Instead, it gives me a file called "ffmpeg-6.1-full_build.7z," and the command prompt isn't moving forward because it's looking for "ffmpeg.exe."

You need to use 7-Zip to compress the file into a standard folder. That should allow you to proceed.
