Disable all advanced graphics settings as they often lead to stuttering for most players. Loading times are unavoidable in GTA5. The only potential fix is playing on a RAM disk. Also, refrain from using alt-tabbing, as it can trigger stuttering and cause unexpected behavior when navigating back.

I frequently switch tabs while using a windowed interface. The main problem appears when switching to online mode and pausing for a moment, causing the connection to drop.
