I recently purchased these components and after assembly, the system failed to start. The diagnostic LED on my motherboard suggested a CPU problem, so I updated the BIOS but couldn’t boot because it was outdated for my processor. To resolve this, I replaced it with a Ryzen 3 2200G, which allowed me to update the BIOS successfully. However, after some issues, a few pins became bent and were straightened, fitting into the AM4 socket. Despite these fixes, I’m still unable to boot, even with the LED active. Have I made a mistake with the CPU?

Join the discussions here! Make sure your motherboard has BIOS version F14 or higher for compatibility with the 4500. Do you have pictures of the bent pins on the CPU?

I've already brought back the CPU and intend to purchase another that works with it. If it fails, I'll consider the motherboard problem and buy a replacement.
