Hello! Please clarify your question about the fan positioning and airflow direction. Are you experiencing confusion because the airflow seems to be moving toward the GPU?
If the rear side faces the GPU, the airflow is directed correctly. But the central gap reduces efficiency and may distort the cooling performance. Would a smaller fan work better?
I don’t own a slim fan, so I’m planning to try it out just to see if it performs better.
Absolutely try it out. I notice that placing the fan in that position on my folding rig at home really helps keep things cooler.
