Prepare My machine is completely nonfunctional. While trying to figure out the issue, I realized there was a defective RAM and the PSU failed about a week prior to this problem. I replaced the PSU and sent back the faulty RAM chip to G.Skill. During that time, I installed the new PSU and booted up my PC with three-quarters of the RAM slots filled, everything worked smoothly. Warzone 2.0 was released, and updated drivers were available for my system. I installed the latest drivers and fell asleep. The next day, I connected a 4090 RAM stick to my motherboard, and this is when difficulties started. USB ports aren't responding. I can boot up, it loads the Windows login screen, but Q-Code AO appears; however, the mouse and keyboard LEDs flash without performing any action. When I enter BIOS, everything functions correctly.

Components include an i7-6700k Asus Maximus VIII Hero (z170 Chipset) with 2x8G G.Skill Trident Z at 3200MHz CL16 (F4-3200C16D-16GTZ), an Asus ROG 980Ti Poseidon (Old) Zotac Trinity 4090 OC, a Samsung 970 Evo 1TB, and a Samsung 980 Evo 2TB. I attempted to use the 980Ti again, tested each part on another PC to verify functionality. I disconnected all components except the mouse or keyboard, with one monitor connected to the GPU. I tried each port individually, added extra USB ports in the header, and attempted usage. Legacy USB support was enabled; a PS/2 adapter worked but didn't function in BIOS.

I attempted to reformat my PC and start fresh, but lost my Windows 10 installation. I tried installing Windows 11, but my motherboard doesn’t support it. I searched for a TPM 1.2 chip, but my board lacks the necessary port. I’m considering switching to a different mouse or keyboard. Other advice suggests using Windows and manually testing the peripherals.

It looks like a driver problem. Do you need to reinstall Windows 10? You don’t require Windows 11.

I believe the windows 10 was discarded many years ago. I once had a thumb drive, but it’s now lost with my Windows key. I switched to Win11, but it can’t be returned since I opened it and everything changed. I tried using CMD Prompt to troubleshoot errors, but now I’m stuck when I reach the login screen. My USB ports work during repair mode, yet I can’t access anything once I log in.

You can generate a Windows 10 installer USB file, allowing you to install Windows even without recalling your license information.
