Need to install Linux on my phone. I don’t like BooGLE, they seem to hate me... I’m trying Google for help. XD Can someone teach us how to port Ubuntu on different devices? I have a OnePlus 7 Pro and a Samsung. It would be great if more people started developing Ubuntu for these phones.

He doesn't seem familiar with transferring Lomiri to other systems. Porting a ROM across devices is quite a complex task. Instead of building something from scratch, why not rely on existing Android adaptations like LineageOS or crDroid?

Maybe he understands, but it's definitely something significant to consider now. I'll tackle it first, though I need to lower the Android version.

Based on past observations, Ubuntu Touch isn't fully ready yet and should be installed only if you have a backup phone or another primary device running Android (even after researching) or iOS. It's definitely an enjoyable project to explore, and I'm looking forward to its development. If you're mainly upset about Google, consider trying other Android ROMs instead.

It appears you're inquiring about the Samsung model of the OnePlus 7 Pro, specifically its support for LineageOS.
