Need someone experienced with pro networks to set up port forwarding or a site-to-site VPN for your business PC. Your NAS is at home while your PC is outside the network—you want shared folders accessible from your business PCs without installing software. Ideally, you'd like the folder visible in Windows network tabs or via a site-to-site VPN so it appears on your PC drive. If you have a Synology firewall off, focus on configuring Unifi UDM SE. Check if any forwarding rules need removal based on your backup setup and NAS requirements. For connecting to your NAS over the internet, ensure proper DNS settings and consider using a VPN client if needed. Let me know if you want a simpler alternative.

Moved to networking area. Keep Windows file sharing private online. Avoid exposing Synology's web interface to the public internet. Turning off the firewall increases risk—your ISP may block traffic on port 80. Change the external port and route it internally. For remote access, use a VPN instead.
