I encountered a very corrupt Pen drive that I wanted to delete its volume and reformat. After inserting it while it was booting, Chrome wouldn't open, and Firefox prompted me to close it. The Gnome system monitor showed no processes, and POP SHOP couldn't find anything. I tried reinstalling by entering recovery mode, but the first attempt failed—restarting helped once. After that, logging back in caused the same problems again. Even though extensions and apps seemed fine, nothing changed. I have no idea what to do and can't access or write anything in the home folder. No screenshots were taken. HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP

I resolved the second problem by addressing the system monitor issue.

Seems like the drive format was incorrect.

Yeah, I've been using Pop-OS for a month now. After a fresh reinstall, the version showed as 20.04 LTS. I don't think I made any mistakes.
