You're trying to upgrade to POP_OS on your laptop with an RTX 3070 and Intel UHD (GT2) graphics. Despite installing NVidia drivers, you're stuck at a 40Hz refresh rate and can't adjust display settings via xrandr or live USBs. The issue persists across Ubuntu and Manjaro too. Need guidance to resolve this.

Hi - I'm adjusting the refresh rate via Pop_OS settings rather than XOrg or Display Settings. To lock it in, set the refresh rate in Pop_OS! Display Settings, disable HIDPI and enable G Sync through XOrg (use 'sudo nvidia-settings' in terminal). You now have stable options at 165Hz and 200Hz.

Thank you for your feedback. You’ve already adjusted the Pop_OS display options and disabled HiDPI mode, yet the issue persists. It seems the problem might be related to NVidia Optimus, and you’re unable to modify any settings within the XORG Nvidia configuration.
