I've been worried about this for a while; my internet has always been slow thanks to several factors, but recently I got a 100 Mb/s connection, which was great. Still, my MSI MPEG Z390 Gaming Edge mini Itx motherboard only manages 5-8 Mb/s. I've placed my laptop directly on the computer and got 95 Mb/s without any issues. I've updated drivers, but nothing helped. Ethernet cables aren't working yet. Anyone have suggestions? I'm really stuck.

Did you link the two antennas? If so, did you adjust their placement for better performance? Are you using 2.4GHz or 5GHz? Did you download drivers from MSI’s site, or did you install the default Windows drivers?

The antennas are linked, and I've experimented with various placements. Currently, I'm using a 5 GHz connection. The drivers remain the standard ones provided by Windows; I plan to check if updating them from MSI's site improves performance.

It seems the main concern is that official drivers tend to be more pleasant. Remember to reference @mariushm for clarity.

I just updated the drivers from MSI and now I'm seeing speeds around 40 Mb/s, which is great! Thanks everyone! @fasauceome @mariushm Apologies for missing the quote—I'm still getting familiar with this platform.
